The Gaygency + Plume Clinic Scope of Work
An SEO lead and in-depth, well-cited articles on trans care, plus a site plan for your brand refresh that keeps people informed on their way to checkout.
Prepared for Taylor Nebeker, November 2026

What You Told Us
“We just can't keep up with the amount of SEO work that we've got.”
“Very few people are even queer-informed enough to be in the spaces that we're looking to be in and understand keywords even.”
“Are we helping people be informed on their way to the checkout process?”
“We don't need to rapidly churn out material.”
Organic search already brings in about a third of your visits and close to half of your purchases. This plan gives your team an SEO lead and long-form writers who know trans care, starting with the clinical topics people already come to you for. Plans cost less than picking services one by one: 10% off with two services, 15% with four and 20% with all five.

What Each Service Includes
One time
Site architecture and journey plan
$3,500A plan for how your site fits together, made for your brand refresh: every page mapped, the path from each article and service page to checkout, which pages to merge, retire or add, and the redirects that protect your rankings through the change. It is written for your UX designer and developer to build from and walked through with them on a call. Delivered in week 4.
Monthly
SEO strategy and management
$1,500 a monthWe lead your SEO, starting from the strategy you have: a keyword and topic plan rebuilt for Google and AI answers, a brief for every article, and a monthly list of technical changes for your developer. We keep robots.txt and your AI-readable site files current and track your rankings and AI mentions against FOLX, GenderGP and QueerDoc. A report every month shows what moved and what comes next.
Long-form articles, 2 a month
$1,500 a monthTwo in-depth articles a month, 1,500 to 2,500 words each, on the clinical topics that bring people to you, like bottom growth. Every clinical claim is checked against peer-reviewed research and current care guidelines and cited, and anything that needs a clinician goes on a one-page sign-off sheet for your team. Each article reaches you within 10 business days of its brief, and revisions within 3.
Article refreshes, 4 a month
$1,000 a monthFour of your existing articles a month rebuilt for search and AI answers: clearer structure, current sources, the questions people ask, and links to the pages that lead to checkout. We start with the articles closest to page one.
Community pages, 4 a month
$1,000 a monthFour public pages a month for your community site on the topics your support groups and events cover, built to show up in search and to point readers to care. We write them from public sources and your team's notes, never from members' posts.
How the First Weeks Go
Week 1
Kickoff
We meet with you and your copywriter, take over the current SEO plan and research, and get access to Search Console, your analytics and WordPress. Your dashboard opens at plumeclinic.thegaygency.com.
Week 2
Your 90-day plan
The keywords and topics for your first three months, the first article briefs and the first technical fixes for your developer, agreed with you before writing starts.
Weeks 2 to 4
First articles and the site plan
The first articles and refreshes reach you for approval. The site architecture plan arrives in week 4, while your brand refresh is still in progress.
Every month
Publishing and reporting
Articles go out on a calendar that builds ahead of Pride and Trans Awareness Month. Your monthly report covers rankings, AI mentions and organic visits and purchases. Plans of $2,000 a month or more include a monthly 30-minute call; smaller plans get a written monthly plan and a call each quarter.
Your plan decides which of these steps are included.
What We Build Around
- Keywords as people search them. Trans terms are written the way people type them. No one on our team needs FTM explained.
- A source for every clinical claim. We are not clinicians. Each claim is checked against peer-reviewed research and current care guidelines, cited, and flagged for your clinicians when it needs their eye.
- No patient information, ever. This work never needs patient or member data, and we never ask for it. Reports use your anonymized analytics, and we add no tracking or remarketing that could reveal who your visitors are.
- Depth over volume. A few in-depth articles a month, each one written to stay useful long after it goes live.
- Built by your team. Your developer and UX designer build the changes. We write what to build and in what order, inside your brand refresh.
- U.S. hours. We work New York hours, and urgent requests are answered within 4 working hours.
How Billing Works
- Projects. A project of $5,000 or more is billed half at the start and half on delivery. A smaller project is paid in full at the start.
- Monthly services. Billed each month on the day they started. They start the day you sign, or, when a project has to come first (like the website before ads), the day you approve that project. Three-month minimum, then month to month with 10 days' notice.
- The new client offer. Prepay the three-month minimum and the fourth month is half off.
- Your accounts. Your website, email, ad accounts and domain stay in your name. You own all of it.
